The team's predecessor was established by the electronics manufacturer Toshiba in 1950. It is a traditional powerhouse.
Traditionally, the team has excelled in recruiting players, including foreign talent, and Nick Fazekas, who retired last season, is a symbolic figure of this success.
They have won a total of four league titles, and while Kawasaki is a regular playoff team, they have yet to secure a B.League championship.

Matthew Wright(6-4, G, Philippines)
Wright is also a formidable player from the Philippines. He joined Kyoto in 2022 and has a background of playing at D1 St. Bonaventure University. He hails from Toronto.

Rosco Allen(6-10, F, Stanford)
A Hungarian player who followed an elite path at Bishop Gorman and Stanford. He joined Shimane in 2018 and has been playing for Kawasaki since last season.
Head Coach: Ronen Ginzburg
He is from Israel and holds dual citizenship with the Czech Republic. He served as the head coach of the Czech national team from 2013 to 2023. While he is struggling to manage Kawasaki following the departure of Fazekas, he is expected to improve moving forward.
